The Detroit auto giant GM) said the move to closde 14 U.S. manufacturing plants and threed service and parts warehouses is a partof GM’s restructuringf plan to streamline operations and focus on building smaller Under the plan, GM will achieve full capacity of its assembly plants by 2011, two years ahead of the schedulr submitted to the U.S. government in February.
